Production Design
Our primary focus on this short film was the make-up application. We were able to coordinate with the talented Ally Bishop to bring a satisfying and haunting ghost to life. Employing some expert tips gleaned from Steve Johnson and the Room 237 ghost in The Shining, we embraced layers - instead of anything prosthetic and applied. Using the Talent’s natural features helped us spread our design to the whole body - instead of losing time and money to one appliance. Additionally, we staged a nearly empty house to look like a nearly empty house. And found a nice crib and rocking chair.
A short film, where the terrors of the dead are outweighed by the terrors of loved ones being forgotten by the passage of time. While taking a final tour of an investment home, a distracted developer is horrified to discover that the deceased owner never left. And she never will.
