The Blood of Kings

World Building

We festooned a three-walled space with textured surfaces for “The Blood of Kings”. Scenic painting and texture was the bulk load of the work here. We repurposed palace columns from Matt Busch’s “Aladdin 3477” and created a broken stone top for it. Thereafter, a simple tree-limb shelf and a minimal table helped occupy the space. Our goal was to end up with an abandoned courtyard or semi-ruin. We were pleased to have created such a reasonable space on a rather limited budget.

A trailer for C.B. Hoffman’s book, “The Blood of Kings” in which:

Cloak and dagger plans collide in the land of Valdaur amidst political turmoil. Donan’s life has had few prospects but death - until he’s saved by The Order of the Black Falcon. Now, the fledgling assassin-spy finds himself hunted by his own brethren in a web of conspiracies and subterfuge that leave him with few choices but to seek justice.
